SuccessFactors Integration Centre
The Integration Centre is a platform designed to connect SAP SuccessFactors to other SAP and third party solutions. Smooth and reliable integration whilst safeguarding data integrity is key to all organisations and as HR processes often require data from other systems, you can build, run, schedule and monitor your simple integrations with confidence using Integration Centre.
A guided workflow and predefined templates are available to help you build your integrations, though you can build your own templates.
For file based integrations, Integration Centre supports CSV, TXT, XML, and EDI/Stacked formats. For Web Service based outbound integrations, Integration Centre supports SOAP and REST outbound integrations. Additionally, Integration Centre supports CSV based inbound integrations. Integrations with ODATA APIs are supported for Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance Management, Goals and Succession.
You can monitor the status of executed integrations and those in progress. Warning messages are output for those integrations exceeding 2 and 5 hours. You can also view useful error/log messages in the Execution Manager.
All failed API integrations include the entity name and tag within Execution Manager logs. Security Centre now uses certificate based authentications, so no more constant updating of username and password combinations to SFTP hosts.
When you send sensitive data, it is always recommended to encrypt the data at message level. Security Centre offers message level encryption using PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) encryption methodology. The PGP keys are used in the PGP Encryptor step. In an application, each user has an encryption key that is publicly known and a private key that is known only to that user.
Apply with ‘LinkedIn’ is a new feature that allows candidates to start the position application process using their LinkedIn credentials.
The Intelligent Services Centre allows you to trigger integrations from an event in SuccessFactors and other business applications, for example a new hire. So that updates are made only for those employees concerned and in all necessary environments.
